The Piano Men

Friday night Rich and I and some Friends, Keith and Courtney went to go see the Piano Men with the Phoenix Symphony. It was Amazing! They took us back to the 70's with Elton John and Billy Joel songs. On a screen they showed pictures and quotes of what was going on in the 70's. I have to share with you this one, They showed a picture of a Station Wagon and Rich turned to me and said, "You would have been driving that rather than your Touareg." Thank goodness for technology! Here are some of the songs they played. Your Song, My Life, Philadelphia Freedom, Movin Out, Candle in the Wind, Rocket Man, and The Piano Man. It was a great night.

Happy Easter!

We had such a wonderful Easter. The day before we went to the Johnson's for a family party. Then the kids went Easter egg hunting and had so much fun. Rich helped Chloe, and Bella knew what to do so she didn't need any help from me. Then it was the parents turn. Rich's parents hide eggs with money in it for us. Everyone gets the same amount but there is a First, second and third prize. Guess who got the first prize......Me! I think we are worse then the kids. It is so much fun though. Then that night we went to the Easter pageant and saw Grandma, Sheri, and Haylee in it. Bella really was following the story and enjoyed it so much that she feel asleep because she was so tired from that day. Easter day we had the girls find there eggs and then we spent time as a family until it was time for Church. That night we had Grandma and Grandpa Nissle over for Easter dinner. Then we went to go see Davy. I think this Easter is our first Easter were Rich and I truly feel and know what Easter is all about. For those of you that don't know, Rich lost his brother in July this past year and then almost me two weeks later. We sure are grateful for our Saviour and what he did for all of us so we can see our loved ones again. Happy Easter.

Making Easter Eggs!

Enchanted

Last night Bella and I watched Enchanted while Rich was at a meeting. We had so much fun eating popcorn and giggling. That movie was so cute. If you have never seen the movie then you will have no idea what I'm going to talk about next. Whenever Rich and I would go on a date Bella would always ask, "Where are you going?" Rich would say, "I'm going to go slay a dragon." I would always shake my head and smile at Bella to make sure she knew he was joking. So today I told Bella that mommy and daddy are going on a date. She then said, "Is daddy going to slay a dragon?" Well now that we have seen the movie I really think that is what she thinks Rich does on a date with me.

Happy Birthday Chloe!

It has been one year now since sweet Chloe has come into our family. We love her smile and big personality. She always watches her older sister, Bella and learns after her every move. I love listening to them laugh and giggle throughout the day. Chloe also is a Daddy's Girl! When he comes home she comes straight to him, and if he passes her to set his stuff down she cries. But when he picks her up she gets the biggest smile she can make. All through the day Chloe loves to say hi to me with a cute little wave. It sure makes my day. We love her so much and are greatful she is in our family.
